The Road home

As I drove through the day ,I thumbed through the past , remembering the good times and the bad times ,the highway
And the back roads, began to haunt me ,with places, that I left behind ,only Ghosts now ,the houses
Boarded up,silent now, where I remembered life, and sound ,strange feeling going back to places that I left behind,a feeling of calm closure ,as I drank from the cold spring, I could feel the cool wind whispering peace ,and the streams flowing time ,as I drove away from that cold mountain valley spring, ,the evening stars began to shine the twilight was setting in,and I began the road home
