Paper Rain
From miles above
poured the paper rain
Flooding the streets
whiteing out the clear September day
peoples thoughts floated from the hell fire
like paper rain
First like a mist
then like a monsoon
the paper rain spread across the city
engulfing the running masses below
in a hurricane of paper rain
When the storm stopped
and the clouds of fire ceased
millons of unread words litter the streets
like a sea
of paper rain

True freinds
A true friend will hug you
A true friend will kick you in the ass
A true friend will wipe your tears
A true friend will create them
A true friend will make you feel good
A true friend will make you hurt
A true friend will listen
A true friend will answer
A true friend will come often
A true friend will come less often
A true friend will not stab you in the back
then pull the knife out and ask for forgiveness
A true friend will always be true
and ask nothing of you but freindship
Its not the party that matters
its not the food that matters
its not the vacations

Dreaming A Dream
Dreaming of a dream
A dream were skies are blue oceans are clear and life scared
Dreaming of dream
were a dream of peace and love rule and hate is a myth
Dreaming of a dream
having food for all, and all not thirst
Dreaming of a dream
Dreaming of a dream
were skin color is just that, us all just one
Dreaming a dream
no pain, war the only true crime
Dreaming a dream
were the rich give, and the poor have a chance
Dreaming a dream
Dreaming a dream
were we can look on a future of happiness'
Dreaming a dream
were the children are the future

every piece of flesh
every rotten organs
I hate myselfs
My very essences is rotten
my hearts a soild block of dry ice
my souls shattered and lost
I hate myselfs
wont kill myself
there are to many personalites I would
have to take with me
All yelling for attention
all wanting to be up front and alive
not hiding behind my eyes
in a brain that does not now
who it is

The response
I wrote a poem about the holocaust
and then I had a dream that I was there
among the broken and the lost
I was watching as they walked to there deaths
but they were smileing and waving at me
like they had no worrys or regrets
My hand out streched
my knees planted in the snow
I grabbed for them
but it was like they wanted to go
The last guy before my dream came to an end
seemed to wisper to me
its okay your our freind
I awoke all frightened and ashamed
about what I had written
did I use there suffering in vain

Sun downing
For my father winter brings with it the sun downing.
summers dog days pass and his state goes unchanged.
that is until the dark ANGRY winter once again brings the sun downing.
Brief flashes of the man he used to be sometimes appear.
his family first, his children his life.
then winter comes and snaps him back to present state of thought.
all his sleepless nights and months for this we thank the sun downing.
Us his family suffer from the mystery that is now his mind.
doctors only guess whats wrong, we follow directions.
but the winter winds howl and dad turns to the beast.
we thank the sun downing.
So dads here but in body only.
with age brings this terrible diesese and the sun downing
Takes the rest.
dedicated to all those living with someone with alzheimers

Barbaro
Majestic can not describe the horse
that won the derby
but really should have lost
Roses they put around his neck
and legend was born
His name before this moment nobody did know
now all of America was chanting
Barbaro
The day was the preekness
the favorite he had become
the crowd was silent the race had begun
a couple of steps and the people knew something was wrong
the jockey dismounted
the horses limp said it all
out came the ambulence
placed him in as quick as they can
America was asking

You cant find love trust me
You cant find love trust me, with a hookers head buried in your lap.
I cant be bought for five dollars, and viewed behind plexiglass.
impossible to achive, when she is easy.
You cant find love trust me, in three bags of chips in front of a tv.
hard to accomplish, when a shower is tabboo.
impossible when so called freinds, are anything but.
You cant find love trust me, when your all alone.
busted leg in three places for six months.
nobody calls, nobody comes, nobody cares.
You cant find love trust me, when left in the back seat of a burning car.
two up front gone, engine a flame.
they watch as you struggle with a stuck front seat
You cant find love trust me, when its vengence
seduced, captured, four kids
was not going to be her easy way out
