Grave Stripper

Stop stripping on my undigged grave,
Listen to the name it silently gave,
Remember when I book this place,
It was when you threw its mud on my face,
Uncover the truth the grave said,
Tell them the agonies of the dead,
Tell them the sharps knives
May kill at once
But your words slashed my heart and hurt my guts,
Farewell to the times
When honesty was the truth,
Farewell to the times when we would die
But not lose,
Our prides or the healing truth.
