Life To Dreams

Life to live then to dreams,
dreams to life and then remembrance of me,
two line highways just pass me by,
high beams I don't know why,
shadows in the distant mist I can not find,
wake me up when it is daylight time,
aching heart longs so deep,
it often penetrates my sleep
call me at night weeping so,
in my dreams you will no let go.

Lock Me Away

Where have you been all night,
out around town that's not right,
they call you slut, they call you whore,
but you just keep going out for more,
baby that just not right,
I spent 30 years in hell,
and I came back to this,
and still not doing well,
but if you go out again,
you should lock me away,
because baby, I am going,
to kill that man.

Time To Turn Back The Clocks

Time to turn back the clocks,
wishing I was twenty six,
and we where young again,
can't change time,
it is liner but one might wish it not to be,
twenty two or twenty six,
now looking at the pick up game,
going for the for the full deck soon,
one year shy of the change,
burn the ace of spades,
not ready for the grave,
time to turn back the clocks.

Team Work

A loud drunk was at a bar,
speaking about one thing or another,
all of a sudden he yells out,
If you need to something, do it yourself,
that is how our country works,
I turn to my friends as we all look at each other,
pick the guy up and tossed him out,
also we tell him don't come back,
in our country it is called team work,
so stay out of our country.

Anniverersary

White dress on a wedding day,
roses petals pass by you,
kiss me after, as we take our vows,
take me as yours, only yours,
sweet kisses hot love,
as we dance and sing,
a life in sunshine and spring,
but the seasons change,
come to me love,
no, no, not, now,
as then, the wall, changes everything,
heart brake then comes, to a losted love,
alone, alone, alone am I.

Tainted Soil

Tainted soil all around,
so deep in the ground,
please ask me once again,
are we just loves or are we friends,
I cry in my sleep,
misery in sorrow once again,
deep and alone,
is it that broken of a heart,
that I can not mend,
when lightning strikes but once,
I am soaking in tears,
forget what I say,
I will love you always,
alone, alone other day,
always my dear.

In A Blink

Tonight I will go to bed thinking about the lonely ones,
with out a home and no where to turn to,
no one who cares for them at all,
no moments left before they fall,
once again other holiday but no memories to say,
sad how things come about this way,
sand in my mouth left in disarray
spit it out cough it up the thoughts just stay,
wind blow mind as my light went out again.

The Banker

To the over inflated ego driving that Mercedes Benz,
it will end for you too.
Yes indeed, pump up on snow white candy,
you are such a spectacle,
yes you are,
smoking big fat Cuban cigars,
high price hooks looking so sweet,
changing lanes in car,
two thousands dollar suites are a treat,
you would suck the blood out of a baby just to high,
I don't know why,
I hope someday you will just die.

The Black Unicorn

The black Unicorn gallops towards me,
it's eyes are flaming orbs of hate,
it's hooves strike the ground as sparks fly out,
one pass by me,
it's breath is a stench of maggots,
it's horn glows bright red,
a second pass by me,
I stand my ground,
it shrieks are like a thousand lost souls,
as it turns it's gaze back upon me,
And then gallops straight towards me with head down,
I leap away just in time as it fads away into the mist.

Desinding Into My Last Fall

Right now I feel like I am walking on a type rope,
with a broken end hanging out in space,
being prodded by the devil just to see me fall,
and now I am free for the first time that I can recall,
floating on air as descending in my last fall,
that the earth take me up and spit me out,
just before I hit the ground,
and maybe I might just bounce,
then float again high into the sky,
but the ground seems to coming up way to fast.
or I just go splat.
