Thoughts Eternal

When winter winds howl at the door
And long dead leaves past window fly
When life’s last chapter ends the book
With words unsaid in great supply
When time eternal calls my soul
To wander trails across the sky
I’ll greet the chill with final thoughts
Of your sweet kiss and longing sigh.
