The Queen Of My Desire

From the burning bed of fantasy she shook
and pointed her undressed wing.

A willing foot soldier for all her pleasures
earning badges with rashes and would be king.

Of course I'd toe the bleeding vine and rise
to lieutenant through her chills of time.

In a resilient state I await her coiled embrace,
looking in her eyes light has been removed.

She pulls me in for a kiss, a half septic potion
on her lips-purple passion glares on her flaring
pits.

Wearing down my warrior's mentality weakened
by the vapor and the weed.

Imprisoned by my mutant queen she bars the gate

Distant

Does the heart really grow fonder with distance?
Seemingly unbearable being apart time and and obstacle.
Romance less galvanized the fewer the letters.
Mental messages through disrupted stream harder to read.
Lonely rather than alone a biting feeling, missing and
desiring touch that keybords cannot provide. Is it
worth the shallow days and hollow nights? Roads not
traveled, bridges not crossed. All that is left is
open air and misdirected wind.Dare not anticipate
or dream of the future. So unkind is the silence,
distant are familiar images. The waiting and longing
becomes the nrom.Out of sight precipitates out of
mind.Moments of splendor no more only illusions.

Wings of Freedom

Taking off from stone or branch in what seems
effortless ease, diversely angled as the creatures
of the sky rises along nature's breeze-flaps the
wings of destiny circling, ascending, diving, hovering,
gliding, alternating speed, weaving by currents beneath
the clouds. The boldest and truest symbol of freedom
a state of being that extends the imagination. The
course of higher yearning presents possibilities
endless.Aerial artistry brings on an ecstasy as the
watcher watches.Certain pleasures and maneuvers
reserved only for the feathered commanders, above
all lands standing taller than mountains with every
aspect of beauty.Travelers on their flights of
necessity and purpose.

Love Letters

A single horse of power head, shoulder, leg and
flank pouring one's expression, galloping the
old roads.Yes, remarkable how words and fragrance
can control the outcome...how the blood from a
pen can set lovers free, emotions leaps from each
crinkled page.Tears pull back and then they fall.
The heart pauses then the soul opens, a place where
proclamations ring the loudest.A place where the
expose'of fears are conquered.Desperation carries
no greater weights in it's flight.Reality of
possibility surely can shine. The truth can sting
as does death.Love once dead takes a resuscitated
breath and another.Future happiness does not have
to wait. All these things exist when you read the
love letter.

Spring Gathering

I'm wondering with my soul prepared feeling off and on
breeze within the springtime glare.I have met in my
mind a woman more fair-fairer than the bending green
of brooks, rare is her beauty never misunderstood.
Fairer than the mist over hills and mountains.
Fairer than sunshine on water when it sparkles.
Fairer than the sound of birds calling, mating.
Fairer than rapture of rivers running full force.
Fairer than trees with leaves of gold.
Fairer inside those dark brown eyes.
Fairer than raindrops falling from rooftops.
Fairer than a breathing bed of flowers.
Fairer than the most enchanting pools of the jungle.
Fairer than the sky in a radiant blue.
Fairer in heart than I could have ever imagined.

The Long Awaited Kiss

Years gone by yet to realize the woman of all my fantasies will
soon be here, building on momentum, the hugs-time releasing tears.
Perpetual communication by letter and picture enticing their way
in a most evocative nature.Sweet romantic endearment fires thoughts
of that first kiss waiting unbearable to garner the taste of her lips.
Lingering do the hours buzzing every desire a vision, fragrance hangs
like like water droplets on a wire.A greater distance between does
not deny the seekers of truth and happiness.A brightened life, a
regal garden which displays it's boldness. No longer tenants of sad-
ness no longer the victim of a lonely heart-interlocking hands
and worlds within the airborne sparks.

Letter of Engagement

Out from the quiet shade I see the sunbeams bright.
A letter of love written along stems of the heart.
The one I want is clear in my mental scope.Women
from my past seem not to matter.Wings of emotion
and choice guide me.Nothing gained if chances are
not taken.Happiness in one's future longed to be
outfitted.Sweet breath in my lungs from her balloon
of kisses. The brush of a hand the splendidness of
an embrace.Time and togetherness that will not be
eroded.Eyes on the right path walking a romantic coast.
Sharing in a life and living for one another.
Believing in what is real, protecting what is true.
Cascading aspects of greatness that only we create.
I speak to you now in a old-fashioned way.Would you
be mine forever?

Portrait of Desires

Paint the picture of our desires using a black on white
color scheme.5 years removed storyboards crackling fire,
in the lovers crystal ball that was not foreseen. We are
more significant than a household name.We are the fiercest
couple starved to be reaized. We are the greatest blend of
beauty and of freak set in stones. We are the brightness
of blue and brashness of brown. We are the embodiment of
lust with with unparalleled heat.We are the Queen and the
Demon making dugeon sounds. We are a force since conception
already untamable. We are pupils and teachers of passion
waiting..We are the anterior and posterior of obsession.
We are enchanted travelers on the most vicious sea.We
are Charlene and William time never to be forgotten.

Downpour

Rain upon the air and ground beats that familiar
sound and with it silent hammers of thought.
The intense droplets of burden that steal and
distract the night. The anguish of day reflected
in the blackened puddles.Falling, falling do the
tears of battle.Falling is the emotional anvil
over many moments rinses the pain and dust.
Demons breathe out their windy brood scales,
tails, wings and hoods.Clapping streams of water
on the glass-agitated lovers in their bed,
turnsout that most enticing scene. The liquid
sheen lashing city and farm blinding all the
townies as they dart for cover.Drenches and
quenches thirsty soils in need, revives the
seeds, heaving wonders from the sky.
Commemoration of the dead coexist with fire
and mist.

Then There Are The Mountains

On a mountain's peak is there peace?
Mountains that overlook the quiet prairie.
Mountains that borders life in rural counties.
Mountains chiseled by years of wind and rain.
Mountain winds creep keeping all secrets.
Mountains a kin to the lower hills of death.
Mountains at the height of glamour baked in sunshine.
Mountains that reach for more majestic planes.
Mountains giving to the ridges, valleys and cliffs.
Mountains in spring the fulfillment of adventure and dream.
Mountains which can shelter one from storm.
Mountains an enduring symbol in poetry.
Mountains which inhabit the calls of the wild.
Mountains of spectacle, below the bending roads between.
Mountains embracing, magnifying the sounds of river.
Mountains the stellar monuments of time.
