Untitled-11
If let me write about the iris
And ode
I could get it very long indeed
But it's not for today I think
I just wanna put down my weapon
To say a sorry for this small boy and leave my way
I don't think I could do this to him I'm not his her
The man who is really interesting in fighting
Can come and let me defeat you
If the child is innocent, I leave and go for my own
But who knows who will stay yet?
Before my leaving let me storm her-the bitch-again

For Here We Have No Continuing City
For here we have no continuing city-
Here the falcons and the herons
Clash overhead, and the dead fall to ground
Like so many feckless soldiers.
For here we have no continuing city-
Wolves and foxes bear young in the caves
And they track the moon till dawn
Like the last worshipers of a lunar deity.
For here we have no continuing city-
When you reach out to touch my hand
Wild goats stumble high up in the cliffs
And the rabbit escapes the trap narrowly.

City Limits
You’re like wildwood at the edge of a city.
And I’m the city: steam, sirens, a jumble
of lit and unlit windows in the night.
You’re the land as it must have been
and will be—before me, after me.
It’s your natural openness
I want to enfold me. But then
you’d become city; or you’d hide
away your wildness to save it.
So I stay within limits—city limits,
heart limits. Although, under everything,
I have felt unlimited earth. Unlimited you.

Ask The Cat
Man: Why do you sleep so much?
Cat: To dream.
Man: What do you dream about?
Cat: My lover.
Man: Tom, the neighborhood cat?
Cat: It was love at first sight.
Man: You were just staring at each other through the window.
Cat: I’ll never forget.
Man: What do you know about love?
Cat: I was a mother four times.
Man: Pure instinct.
Cat: I remember.

Eyes To Eyes
Eyes to eyes
They have eye contact
With each other
One can see their fear in their eyes
The other just look
And don't say anything
Eyes to eyes
It is almost like they are talking to each other
They are talking non verbal
Eyes to eyes
Sometimes you can see each other’s feelings
Eyes to eyes
The feelings are anger, sometimes sadness, Sometimes anxiety,
And sometimes happiness
Sometimes the eyes are tired
Sending a signal that needs its rest
eyes to eyes

Ancient chippewa tradition
The dream net has been made
For many generations
Where spirit dreams have played.
Hung above the cradle board,
Or in the lodge up high,
The dream net catches bad dreams,
While good dreams slip on by.
Bad dreams become entangled
Among the sinew thread.
Good dreams slip through the center hole,
While you dream upon your bed.
This is an ancient legend,
Since dreams will never cease,
Hang this dream net above your bed,
Dream on, and be at peace.

The Rain
Of the rain the Word has said
To us he giveth in due season
And in the Word i also read
Of his might and of his reason
The rain to water the earth
Our crops he will sustain
Trees planted not in dearth
Rooted firm they will remain
A rich gift from heaven sent
Not because of worthiness
But by divine design meant
To show a creator greatness
And therefore this an ode to thee
Of God's oh blessed rain
A token penned from me
Forever i am your humble swain

The City That Never Sleeps-Is The City That Sadly Weeps.
The city that never sleeps...
Is but the city that always weeps.
Be this city of explosioned terror...
By only way of man's eternal evil error.
Minds led astray of evil intent...
Always these men be jelouse of and uncontent.
Twinn'ed towers fell that one sad fateful day...
Smokened and clouded fro' man's savage evil disuay.
God will rightfully punish those to be held accountable...
City that still weeps will conquor sadness that seems ever so unsurmountable.

Ode To Village
Ode to Village
Whistling voice of the cuckoo bird,
Sacred scene in muddy attire,
Gong chant with its croaky voice,
And Ayangalu beating the bygone drum..
Market women dancing to the ryhme of drum,
Home we go,
With our hoe dangling on our shoulders,
Lark welcoming our breezing air,
Heap celebrating many years of slavery,
Children playing with their morose pant,
Agbegilodo, the tree cutter,
Prying on the naked canopy of ageless trees...

Innocence And Ignorance.
I hope to shield behind my Karma,
protected by my innocent grace,
yet when i look a little further,
the smile fades quickly from my face.
For who decides what fate holds,
for those born dying in a far off place,
what terrible sin makes a life unfold,
into death by money, greed and race.
In the time it's taken to read this ode,
another babe in arms has passed away,
The drug companies seek more financial gold,
so AIDS kills a child, every minute, of every day.
