Appreciate me for every diamond i'm worth
Never take me for granted or leave me in dirt
Cherish me as i love you
Give me the love love that i give you
Give me love please i beg of you
But not the love for a beggars soul
Give me love that is pure and true
Give me love of more worth than gold
I ask you for love that never grows old
I ask for love that never grows cold
That time cannot kill and words cannot low
I ask for love that can never be broken
That can withstand the world and any of its burdens

Pick Me Up
There are too many roses down on the ground
There are too many people throwing them around
Every rose has a value unbound
So would you please pick them up from the ground?
There are too many people staring at the moon
And many forget when the roses will bloom
And when they do they'll be treated so rude
And they're sweet smell turns to no value
A rose is a wonderful thing to hold
It has a scent so sweet to the nose
It's filled with love and kindness so deep
But we don't appreciate a thing so sweet
Until it's gone and we're left all alone
Searching for one but they're already gone
It's like when too many people start cursing the rain
Waiting by the window and begging in vain
That the rain should come another day

I want someone…
I want someone who can be there for me when I'm down
Who knows what to say to bring me up
Who's there to pull me up when my self-esteem is low
Who tells me I am worth so much more
Who gives me confidence like no other
Stays so close to my heart
Who believes in me when everyone says I'll fail
Who gives a helping hand even when the task seems impossible
who can give me strength through a simple touch
Will never waver their faith in me
And in that way I will never waver in my faith in me
I want someone who can love me more than I love myself
Who can appreciate me for all my worth
And can see in me what no else can
Someone who can hold me when I'm cold
Who will be there for me even when the world
Decides that I am not the worth the thought

I hate the word goodbye
It makes the angels cry
But I've been hurt too many times
Now the time for fair well is ripe
I hate the word goodbye

You've done it so many times
