Desert Life

Questions to Desert Wind…

You wonder,
Did the desert wind already forgotten to past?

No dearest, it has always blown so gently…
Crafting this dry open desert,
Shifting mystical sand dunes,
Bringing precious droplets to a thirsty bird,
To comfort her broken heart!

You further asked,
O desert wind…
Why erased my written message in the sand?

So let it be a permanent secret,
Cause I have already engraved it in my heart.

Only My Dream

It was a fateful day,
That we happened to meet,
And over the passing days,
we became closer and closer.

O friend, why touch you my heart?
Knowing well you can't fulfil.
Why appear in my life?
If just for a flitting moment.

Can't you see?
Even these rolling waves,
had not forgotten the shore.
It came visiting again and again.

But for many seasons now,
In my cold lonely nights,
There was no more you,
For me, only my dream.

Memory

Moonlight,
In the middle of a cold night,
All alone in silence,
Brings back memory,
Of the happy days with you.

Starlight,
seemed so distant in the night sky,
But each one of them,
are my many happy memory of you,
That warms up my cold heart.

Twilight,
It appeared after a dark night,
And so is the bright sunlight and busy day,
No matter how hard I try to run away,
When silent nights returned,
Memory will visit again and again.

Dust

Summer rain came suddenly,
In the garden park I walked silent and lonely,
feeling betrayed…
My pride thrown to the dust,
Trampled, humiliated, as if paraded for others to laugh,
What value? When feelings treated for jest and lust,
Without sweetness of love,
Neither traces of compassion,
I had now seen the monster in you!
Now looking for doors for which I could escape,
To inhale deeply and freely,
and find a truly beautiful new world, away from you.

Undefeated

Your painful deep cut,
A sudden stab to my believing trusting heart,
Yet no single feeble groan came from my mouth.
Silent bleed,
And none others saw this curdling red drip,
Your cold merciless look,
Showed not an iota of mercy,
Gone were the traces of love,
Or was there ever?

I dragged my feeble feet,
To move forward and continue living,
Betrayed, humiliated…
Though wounds will one day heal,
Leaving ugly scars, unseen…
I chose not to be defeated!

Deeper than the Sea

I knew, from the very first day we met,
That this relationship will end in pain,
But still, I would repeat it again and again,
For those days we were together,
Are moments in paradise.

O this cruel fate,
Today we must part,
Embrace me closely,
Give me your sweetest smile,
Do promise me that you will stay happy.

O dearest, my tears will not fall in front of you,
I will keep them for my silent moments, alone…
Can't you see?
I had released my loveliest bird to fly freely,
Since my love is deeper than the sea.

Sayonara!

Sayonara, sayonara…
O Comforter of my heart,
It is time for me to go,
Like the passing of seasons,
This spring will not last,
I can't stop the daily sunsets,
Golden autumn is impatiently waiting.
When next winter come,
the pure white snow will fall again.
When the new spring reappear,
I hope to be standing in this garden again,
though I maybe alone…
I will cherish those unforgettable moments with you,
and these sweet red roses will surely bloom again as witness,
to the meeting of hearts,
Who comforted each other so much,
But yet impossible to be together.

Green Bird, Golden Bird.

A tired green bird flew a very long journey,
Came to a stop in a beautiful valley.
There were many birds of all colours singing and playing,
Among them he saw a beautiful golden bird,
Her feathers shining in the bright sunshine,
And her voice echoed melodiously.

Within a short time the green and golden birds were close friends,
They knew each other deeply by heart,
Passing the days, flying from valley to valley,
And resting from tree to tree.

Then one sad day, golden bird must return,
She too had flown from across the vast ocean,
Even though it broke the green bird's heart,
But he was willing to let go, and before she left, .. he asked;

Golden bird, have I full-filled my promises to you?
That I would never hurt you,
That I would protect you with my life,
