Autumn gold

on tv - the weather - guy
predicted enthusiastically

a lot of sun and a blue sky
beautiful warm late summer days
during the upcoming autumn break

he did not know
for sure
he did not lie
probably

the ticking on the window
sings a different song
the clouds are sharing
nothing but rain

I have to go out
before the rain stops
into that wet world

Eclipse

I witnessed every single day
the sun and the moon disappear
too slowly or too fast
behind mountains or rivers
horizons with trees
and too often
watched it all
sink into so many lakes
and far away seas

I experienced
lunar and solar eclipses
heartbreaking moments
in which their lights
disappeared
sometimes into another yesterday
too often in the darkest dark night

it's a great gift of life
not feeling blinded

The Babbling Brook

clearest water flows gently
along and over my naked feet
the touch of its almost tacit sound
deafening beauty for a calming mind
thousands of tiny goosebumps
showing the numerous surprising shivers
trying to make sense

the softest sofa of fresh leaves and little twigs
spread a narcotic palette of autumn perfumes
coloring the signals of my soul

a generous friendly fire of chestnuts and acorns
compose a beat and feel of rhythm of the forests
tapping on my shoulder and head
changing every breath that I take
while softly knocking
at future's door

Just A Moment

at the busy crossroad
the traffic jam
is complete
all roads crowded
all kinds of vehicles
have to stop
while their futile waiting time
disappears in stress

a cacophony of people
just talking about
them selves
complaining
about their situation
overpowering the impatient honking
of other drivers
still in their cars
in the queue

what should I do

The Buchenwald-cat

a couple is walking ‘hand in hand'
on historical grounds

they're not talking
in disbelief of what invisible
yet so present

overwhelmed by the deadly silence
of the spirit
of hundreds of thousands
passing by also
so long ago in an eternal way

moved
by exhibited drawings
miniatures of art
by witnesses back then

only the sound of countless stones
under their feet cracking

Pictures At An Exhibition

the picture of the past
the touch of a thought
the perfume of a present
the sound of a symphony

everything
could be
unexpectedly
the mystification
of a latent memory

onward
when the moment reveals
it's time
intuitive
you'll sense
you'll see
what's to be divulged
this moment only
for those being privileged

Between Moonset and Sunrise

with the sunrise
every second
less and less timid on my back
I walk towards moonset
feeling as high as I can
feeling like I never felt before,
feeling moved as can be
with the strength of sunrise on my back

confronting the miracle unfolding
in and surrounding me.
participating by consciously walking on
witnessing every new fabulous second of it
with the power of the moonset on my face

this paints me becoming who I am
through whom I was by nature itself
allowing me to feel and be
the observer in myself
breathing the fabulous views

Aunty Anna's Orchard

it was the largest house
next to it an orchard
full of apple and plum trees
and one lonesome old pear tree
in the corner of the backyard

this was
where she spent several summers
most of her time

leaning against
the gnarled trunk
she could dream
she could hide
she could feel free
for a few minutes
or all day

she could watch
the growth of the leaves

The old man and his stone

an old man
seated alone
on his stone bench
invited me
almost invisible
gesticulating with his hand
sit down beside me

we did not say a word
together we just heard
nothing but our silence

he invited me
to take a look in his garden
he took me by my hand
guiding me
through the open gate

he gave me a grand tour
in his Japanese paradise

The impact of a hammer on your thumb

despite the sign
"No peddlers here"
a woman rang at my door
"I only want to ask you just one simple question"

normally I would say
'No"
'I don't socialize with interviewers'
I am never the reason
they will have a rise
of completed inquiries
usually I tell them polite
the right thing to do
from my kind of view
'Go''

however
somehow
today
this woman
