Oh there is no greater thing to see
Then to see the face of thee
Burned within my mind
I think of you all the time
Even though you have gone
For a very long time
On stuck within this heart of mine
Is a time that is only thyne
Never to fade to black
For just the very thought brings sunshine
To this now lonely heart
I will forever cherish the time
No matter how short it was
For it now stands still within my heart
To bring joy once more at the thought of you
For some loves never end
But run among the stars
Brought back to life

Person In The Mirror
Who we once were as a child
Is now buried beneath the many years
Of all those who touched our lives
Changing them forever in some way
For time and life is the greatest teacher
Every person we have contact with
Leaves us with a little bit of themselves
Good or bad we all learn from others
But deep down inside us
There is something we are born with
That I think that never changes
Our escence of who we really are
Our foundation of which makes us, us
One of a kind,
Here to do something no one else is here to do

Black And White
Life was better in black and white
Long before they invented color tv
Most people knew right from wrong
A sense of togatherness that made a family strong
People cared about each other
Giving a helping hand
Now it's what can you give me
The solgan of our land
Oh give me back the smell of spray starch
Cooling down in front of the fan
Work was a whole lot harder
But the company treated you like a man
Not some number
Friends got togather to play a little poker
Now we don't have time for one another
We only have time for number one
Oh take me back to those black and white days

You were there just a short time
You were there to set me free
From the depths of depression
You were there to heal me
I reached out and you touched me
In a way no one else could do
Oh how the years have come between us
But the heart that God gave you
Gave you the compassion
To rescue me
Oh how I wish the world was different
Where friends could be just friends
For there were to many questions
That had no ends
Answers that could be answered by you
For who is more trusting

As I See It
Look, but look, past the obvious
Listen and hear the unspoken words
Give comfort to those that are hurting
Open your life to those who are lonely
Never stop dreaming for dreamers never grow old
Losen your grip on yesterday
So you can grab hold of today
Go with your gut feeling
For nine times out of ten
It's the right thing to do
Laugh for laughter lifts the soul
Give sometime for helping others
For in the end it will help you
Make something your passion
For without one life is dull
