My Father Is a Great Hunter

In those days they say
Animals live in the bush
I wish my father can travel go West
To see cat and dog
Antelope and elephant
Tiger and lion
Living in man’s house.

They call them pets
But I don’t understand
While in my continent
Mouse hunts for food
Cat hunts for mouse
Dog hunts for cat
Tiger hunts for dog

My father is a great hunter

Village Girl

Why cant you just say what’s in your heart, why must you always play another’s part hiding from the feelings you have deep in your heart, tearing apart what was so beautifully Clear, why could you not say those three little words my dear…

Now I don’t want to hurt you or cause you distress, as always I want what for you is the best, I have always had a open heart beating in my chest, honesty as always been a virtue That I love best, if I love you I tell you and I don’t mess, but if you hurt me I tell you and get it off my chest, I may be blunt but honesty always I confess…

Now many years must this go on, tell we meet and admit this thing we have going on, or we both agree its time to move on and say so long, I must admit to see you again the feeling is strong, to see your beautiful face that I have waited so long…

There has to be a better way, than this constant fighting everyday help me to find away, lets be close again if only for one day…
