Sweatshop

These are our brothers and sisters
Trapped in the chains of poverty
There is a sudden need for autonomy
Like MLK when he sang for peace
Like Howard Zinn’s soul released
Pier 1, Wal-Mart, Abercrombie and Fitch
Universal hatred toward the careless rich
And as the gut eaters sit in mansions and spoils of gain
Women and children are dying in vain
This tears on my hear and leaves only blisters
