Ghetto Dreams
Ghetto dreams, I want an ambitious chick that has plenty of dreams and desires.
Not just the everyday female that goes once twice three times to the highest buyer.
Protective of her cubs, the type of lioness that can get a man to go all in for her.
In fact employs me I'm her chauffeur, but honeys' drive got me sitting in the backseat. Paper knows its way around us like Wall Street.
So far from others, her mindset is discrete. Solid future and God is my witness.
Don't matter whether she is tricking or treating; she got it going on.
My beautiful bliss, Miss causes the competition to become obsolete.
Amazing sleeping beauty is even finer when she's awake, but she is from my dreams. Determined to graduate, a scholar that prays to God and reads her Bible.

They Reminsce Over You
So I date way back to grandma taking care of little sister and I When mom had to make a living. Grandma, the head of our family, signed us up for each and every event in church. Arrogant when I say I am grandma's favorite; no one can tell me different. I was her only pocketbook. She brought me to Sunday school, but I refused to leave her side, so I lingered near my grandma while she taught class. I reminsce on the times when I spoke without thinking; spilling my guts during step dad's cheating. Before leaving he crushed my dreams in architecture. I had built a dual wing plane with my k'nex right before Christmas. He scrapped it, and I didn't know how to start over. Sad times when playing basketball seeing the same fool showing me the finger roll. Left in single parenthood, the Y became my new house. Counselors mentor me and changed me from a boy to a man even when my biological couldn't be bothered. It was sort of hard to grow up due to having childhood stolen from under me, but I had to.

Forever Begins
The silent night calls, resilent as I emerge.
Silly ideas of skipping class or playing sick.
Hard knock life been a month no books can't blame mom for trying.
No loan, the government said she made too much; could you believe that. Faithful still going to Sunday school better believe it that is the highlight of my day. God is helping me pass my classes; feeling great as I receive passing grades.
English teacher, just got finished helping my cousin with his first poem.
If I tell him I'm proud that will be the end of me.
Honor student at the age of fourteen and is a freshmen now. Nevertheless I came up short when I dropped all I was doing to see him graduate.
Overwhelmed I slept over at the airport for my first time and didn't think nothing about it. Well actually right around that time he inspired me to write poetry.Self conscious being, I didn't actually sleep at the airport.
In fact I don't rest at night; my moms struggles keep me wide awake.
Loving her is loving me. Hope I never become senile when it comes to respecting women.
Haters going to hate but how can they stop my flow - they not Moses.
When I go forever will begin.
