A beautiful voice
a peaceful sound
we hear in the passage
voice given by God
a talent to you

We hear you singing
beautiful praises
to God our Father
a heavenly voice
you have indeed

I start to wonder

How great is God?
how great is He?

you have for God

Cousin of Mordecai you were
blessed with beauty you were
admired by all the people

Favoured by king Xerxes
you won his favour and affections
he crowned you, his queen of queens

Destined by God to be
fulfilling a greater purpose
when Satan planned his evil
to destroy, your people
chosen instrument you were
to save all of you
God's people

Bold and confident
you approached the king
with the strength of God
to plead for your people

For years you suffered
a dreadful decease
difficult was your life!

of the Lord Jesus
heard about His
healing powers

One morning you saw
Him passing by
you thought if you could
only touch His garment
you would be healed

you touched His garment

What a faith you had
desired to be healed
to live life normally

In the dark of night
you would come
in the silence
of the hour
you would serve
Satan your master
taking the innocence
of a child
destroying a child's life
denying the child
a normal adulthood!

In the presence of God
you promised to be
a loyal wife
to the man who asked you
to be his wife
until death do part
you promised
in the presence
of the witnesses
and God

mean these words?
or was it just empty words?
days ago, you were still

pure lust night after night
without worrying

Selected by the hand of Christ
twelve men you were chosen to be
each one in your own time to be
with your own special talents
for a purpose to be

Chosen to serve
the Son of the Living God
obedient to the Father
you were to be
all of you left behind
your houses and loved ones
your towns, villages
all that you knew
to go into the world
to serve Christ, the Lord

Power and authority
were given to all
to combat and defeat
