The Hate Poem

I hate when you look at me
and lie to my face
I hate how you date me
just to get to third base

I hate having feelings
for someone like you
I hate how you look at me
the way that you do

I hate all the lies
that you have put inside
I hate how my heart hurts
because you have lied

I hate the way
this relationship has ended
you broke my heart
and left it unmended

Brutal Love

Her eyes shine
brighter than the stars
her eyes are surrounded with beauty
her speech is soft
often left unheard
the pain comes out from within
in a rage she destroys all that surrounds
her tiger like reflexes threaten
her claws come out
no one messes with those she loves
when all is safe
she tenderly loves those who are close
the pain goes back into hiding
and all is well
until another threat comes

This Pain Fills Me

This pain fills me
this pain of emptiness
a pain that doesn't go away
a pain of longing for
what I don't have
having what I don't want
a pain of the past
and also the future
a pain that nobody cares I have
a pain that I have every day
this pain fills me
from the soles of my feet
to the top of my head
I am filled
my soul is dim
the pain is a killer
it wants to take over
I fight
with what might I have left
I fight this pain
