Fearing for a Friend
My friend he's broken
hanging onto his last bit
of sanity for so long
wanting to just let go
of life and all it's pain
I fear for my friend
he blames himself for
what he didn't do it's
it makes me sad and
I cry for him inside
My friend thinks that
he has no future but
but I know he can
have a future still he
just needs to hold on
I fear for my friend
for what he has said

In my eyes I see this guy
In my eyes
I see this guy
he's nice, gentle, sweet
In my hands
I feel someone's touch
so sweet and so gentle
In my heart
I feel this warmth
that always seems to grow
In my arms
I feel an urge
to rap my arms around him
In my mind
I sence my fear
which comes from being broken

The Petal Game
pick a flower
to play the petal game
pluck a petal
he loves me
pluck a petal
I don't love him
pluck a petal
he keeps getting closer
pluck a petal
I keep pushing him away
pluck a petal
he is always around me
pluck a petal
I hide away from him
pluck a petal
he is always protecting me
pluck a petal
I just punch him in the gut

What I remember about you
I remember a wonderful day
It was the day I met you for the first time
I don't remember what made that day so wonderful
Maybe it was the the way you could always have fun and you were always smiling
I remember the time I met you
It was July third 2005 at your neighbors house and you were setting off firework
I don't remember talking much on the third
but I am known for getting shy especally around new people that I haven't met
I remember the first question you asked me
It was Ahh, Hey do you want to come to my house and set off some firework tonight
I don't remember why I said yes that sounds like fun
Maybe it was your kind and caring voice I don't normally say yes even to my best friends
I remember a forth of July at your house
It was about seven o'clock and we setting off fireworks and a police officer told use to stop
I don't remember having such a blast sents then
Maybe it is because you are loads of fun to be around and you are the life of the party
