Eccentric and Suicide
Eccentric married Suicide -
Waltzing beneath the porch.
The stayed with Rain to try to hide -
From Sun's revealing scorch.
The sparkle in her dress -
Was the twinkle in his eye.
Eccentric's epic of distress -
Was a rainbow through the sky.
Or rather a sky through through the rainbow -
Which is a painting on her nails.

Walking With the Senses
My invisible feet make themselves
Stick up under my thick pink and white blanket:
Closer to my body than I'd like.
I never stop begging my legs to grow.
My circle pink-edged mirror gazes up with its silver eye
At the white ceiling - not receiving a stare in return.
If the flowers embedded in my blanket could talk -
They'd say 'With the senses forever walk.'

Riding With Suicide
What Joy to Ride - with Suicide -
In the front seat of his car!
Shimmering black - around us circles -
Like a dream - so far!
What pain to stop - at traffic lights -
Halted at the Bay -
Imagination once beside us lay!
Destiny once made our day!
Oh Originality! Flutter you our way?
Be you now - the final hope -
With Suicide and me play -
In our date room - with no Mope!

When Imagination Imagines
When Imagination imagines –
Her frame she drapes in red.
Fine white pearls her neck circle
Like a ring – it's said.
Walks she then down Childhood's street –
Proceeding in high heels.
Crispy leaves the edges line
Like a rope – that reels.
Imagination – Childhood meets –
Beneath the tree of Destiny.
Ponder they – their secret bond –
Why existent it must be.
Arrive – they do – at Age's grave-
Lit by Freedom's moon.
Fireflies to them sing –
The autumn breeze joins soon.

Suicide's Seducing Chant
Of Destiny and Lovesick was I born -
A child of fate self-giving -
From my love - Eccentric - I'll not be torn
Beneath Freedom's moon we're living!
Suicide himself am I -
Commit me and you'll live -
Marry me - you'll not die -
To Moon Rise yourself you'll give!
Stick I out - my hand persuasive-
Then smile like silver nights -
To my love- Eccentric - I'm not invasive -
Know we our fine rights!
Cruise we will down Destiny's street -
In silent flowers lined -
Know you will - no defeat -
Joy herself will be refined!

When I Could Not See My Cat
When I could not see my cat he secretly saw me -
While wanting to stay outside in the nighttime yard -
His hiding in the darkened woods has always been the way -
To letting himself stay out and play.
Who knew finding such a little cat could make evening life so hard?
I searched to save him from a fight -
With that red-eyed fox that stalked the night.
I stepped onto each stepping stone -
Not a meow but crispy leaves.
To find my furry cat - all I needed was a light.
Finally out of nowhere -
My cat had quickly run -
Past each spying star.

Library Wednesday
The chilly red doors -
Squeak open before me like the front doors of hell.
Nervous Secrecy -
Cradles my blistered hand and leads the way
To the multitude of books -
Which populate the wall-shelves like cat in the mushroom farm.
Tell me - why do you stalk me?
Every Wednesday - will this repetition be normalcy?
I already hear your footsteps -
Closing in on my path.
I won't forever tolerate -
There in the small room - this ache and hate.
I will dismantle the grasps of your clutches -
When school is no longer my fate.

Birth of Originality
Satin-like – her wing
Breaks out of her mother.
She begins to drink the sunlight
Like a bottle.
A bottle of the mind.
But Destiny had jumped –
Died by way of his son –
The sensual evening before.
Before the birth.
The birth of Originality.
Destiny now stares through
Nothing in the
Silver soothing grave.
But in such a mind
Originality
May let her feminine growth be witnessed.
Witnessed like a marriage

Reviving Childhood
Femininity must have tapped
Childhood's scrapbook. Pink-colored scrapbook.
Inside it –
Lies Childhood's vibrant drawings
Under thin plastic blankets. Where is she now?
The brown-haired
Tan one –
Or was she the blonde?
How many eras it's been since
I've seen her last!
Being Imagination herself –
I flip through
The scrapbook like a photo album.
My friend Childhood's markered-in picture –
Wide-eyed
At me stares –

Tale of Imagination
Beside Imagination say Childhood
As the sun bowed down to Freedom's Moon.
They knew they could - and they would -
Endure the night of June.
Imagination smiled blissfully
Turned to Childhood and said -
'You are my cause - my life.
Without you I'd be dead.'
Childhood replied like light -
'Soon I'll be gone but you will stay.
Three months to live is what I have -
That's all I have - they say.'
The two friends sat in silence then
The wind brushed their straight faces
How could either know just when
Fate would take their places?
