Innocent Crave
Your beauty calls on perfect lust,
This summers day in which we've come to trust,
I look at you and dream away,
of fields so green,
Its an innocent crave,
and even though i imagine how you might be to touch,
its my heart i wish to be fulfilled from lust.
Strum once to accompany the day,
Your voice soars,
I ride the waves,
We count fantasy in the white world above,
and maybe,
Just maybe,
We whisper secrets of love...

A Night on the Overlander
Fog and smoke surrounds me,
the wind flying past me,
shooting through the dark,
past lives thatll never see the flow
out here im so alone.
We're the passing lights,
the rolling thunder of the night,
each time i slip into myself
the fog horn blows,
reminding lives of lives theyll never know.
Running from the night,
from the urge to stop and show,
its not exactly perfect,
but the chasing lights means ill always know.
This could be a home that never slows

I Keep Tripping and Falling on my Heart
I keep triping and falling on my heart,
and it seems youve played your part,
in the misery i see
when i look at me,
I cant stand my smile,
I keep triping and falling on my heart,
ran from a false start,
each hill i take
another draining mistake,
no ones ever there,
to break my fall,
I keep triping and falling on my heart,
its like a shopping cart,
everyone uses it,
to store their shit,
with no one there to clean it up,
Guess Ive had enough...

The Dark and Me
Im lost in my own dark little world,
it has four walls,
a window,
& a door,
Its forever 3am and sleep escapes me once more,
Im doomed to lie here,
with only my conscious as comfort,
& the dark as my friend,
Only i know whats said in the dark,
whats done in the dark,
Im left to myself in the dark,
The sandman,
he is no saviour,
for he has not come tonight,
now i must seek the safety of day,
of light,

A Cold Window
I just want to cry,
let it all out to fill mine eyes,
a cold window to the soul
lit by the morning light,
The heart of a wasted poet wants to sing tonight,
by pen and paper and decrepid verse it just might,
the pot will never be full,
but theyll always pour just in case it does,
A romantic lies in dreams tonight,
his worlds past,
he has no sight,
the arsenic by the bottle glints as the world walks by
Each and every child will know the words,
sung as whsipers to an age that always shouts,
tears and hearts are friends tonight,
as we wake to the falling drops off frosted glass

A Black Rose
A Black Rose,
Glistening in the rain,
A sign, a symbol,
An insignia of loss,
It’s the Flower of Darkness,
Lying in wait on this cold winter night,
It represents the beauty of despair,
The grace of defeat,
The feelings we all find hard to bear,
The millions of people that have all loved and lost,
All behind this flower that holds us aloft,
Within its petals we drown our grief,
With its stem we clutch to what’s left of life,
Within its thorns we spite those who have set us so
And within this dark flower we find our peace,
The power to let go and leave the loved lie,
So with this flower we sign our hearts,
