The Pain of Loss

My heart is broken
My mind is lost
Full of pain
The pain of loss

Knowing you're gone
Just hurts me more

The pain is deep
Too deep to bear
The pain is burning
Like a fire, it burns

The burning is strong
So strong that it consumes me
Holding me hostage
While the flames are dancing around me

Just throwing out insults, that hurt even more
But I am helpless
