Bombarded!

Our town
Full of laughter
Full of joy
Full of happiness
Full of life, it was.

In a flash of seconds,

Our town
Full of cries
Full of misery
Full of sympathy
And as silent as glass, now.
No one to be seen walkin'
No houses or trees standin'
Except the miraculous, little church
Standing tall, proud and lonely.

World Leaders

kids can be leaders.

I have seen a kid lead his father.
I have seen a father being led by his kid
So, , , kids can be leaders.

I know a man who is led by his kid
I know a kid who leads his father
Don't ask me how and don't bother
I'm telling you what I know
I am telling you what I saw
I saw a kid leading his father.

For the father is blind.

Wild Is The Wind

She run away from home
When she was only 16
She said, she was going
To follow the wind.
I seen the wind blow in our town
I've heard the wind blow in our town
But I never saw her.

Many Moons I have seen
Since she left us
And one day
She came home.
Mama was surprised to see her
And said 'you are one wild child.'

But she just smiled and said
''Wild is not me mama,
Wild is the wind.'

Poles apart

Dark sky
Shiney moon
You are what I have
I am what you have
And we are so much in love.

Dark sky shiney moon
You and me from mornin until evenin'
You are what I have
I am what you have
And we are so much in love.

Beautiful dark sky
Stars hanging in there
The moon bright and shiney
You and me together
I am thinking of romance
Watching your hair dance
In the soft wind
While you are staring at the moon

Something About The Weather

Dear sister, you have no idea
About the weather here
The earth is dry
We haven't seen any rain
For the past few years
And hunger is striking.

Looking out through the window
Father is trying to forecast the weather
And he has been saying something
But no one heard what the exact words are
For he's talking to no one, but himself.
Oh! how terrible things are here
The weather is bad, so bad that
I am beginning to believe what father has said.

'This is not weather, but a curse laid upon us.'

Just One Of Those days

I'm so tired I dunno why..
I feel like I been working like a dog.
It's funny cus I haven't done
anything the whole day,
but sit lazily on this chair.
Its the weather, there's so much pressure
Its draggin me around
I really hate it.
September and April are the worst months of the year
transition months
I wish i could sleep those two months,
you know, writing a notice that goes like,
'wake me up when October comes' and
sleep all the way through September.
The same goes for April, but change the October to May.
The internet connection is awfully lazy today.
Maybe it is the weather again.
It's not worth downloading anything during the day
Funny how the weather is ruining everything.
I feel like doing something else

Typical of a day

And then
I got up feelin aite
Hopin the day would be beautiful
I washed ma face and had breakfast
Went out of home to ma work place
To ma lill office, to ma lill space
And then
I said to ma self
I'll have to do ma best today
And work harder than the other day
And then
I did ma best, went for a break
Took some rest, had a cappucino and a cake
And then
Back to work, , , and handle as much as I can take
And then
The clock struck one
When all the paper work was done
And then
I had to see some friends
