I Saw a Butterfly

I saw a butterfly
I saw him well
The tears were in his eyes
They burned like hell
He looked like just the strongest one in this world
but if you touched him he could die
This lovely butterfly who dreamed of life
As he spread his wings to fly beyond the skies
He wished the world would see him for who he is
A lovely butterfly, not an eagle
The butterfly I saw

Epilogue to Him

I feel like tears that have forgotten to cry
Words that have forgotten to speak
The desert wind searching for rain
Joy when it discovers pain

Is there no hope for me
For once can't I have my destiny
When I found him last he chose to leave
For once can't he choose to be with me

Desolate remnants haunt me
And the touch of his arm taunts me
with a picture too wicked to speak
and a sound too distant to reach

Is this it?
My tragedy!
Of love loving hate in irony
Could this be right?
Can you hate while you love,
