Designer Love

Very well I contradict myself
knock myself out
looking for a knockout
won't settle for a knockoff
a friendship bracelet
is never enough
in a department store
busy shopping for
I need your
designer love.
immortal while we're shopping

Workout Plan

Some girls are all about
wishing things would've worked out
or wondering why
things didn't work out
don't work out
won't work out
or if only this

It's as if instead of working things out
and things working out
all they really wanted was a good workout
I guess just let them
work themselves out
cause I just want things to work out
if that's cool

Human Side

People are just objects
for pleasure
and amusement
to be used, exploited

until you visit their house
see pictures of them as children
family photographs
loved ones
and suddenly
what was once a people
is now a person
someone else
now yourself

From One Small Corner

Living in America, or pretty much anywhere,
one inevitably encounters in their daily peregrinations,
some that are so unconscious of the amount

excessively exceeding in their own excess,
but oh so smug in their pontifications
of the excess of others, whom they would gladly get the better of.
Like the family of twelve with their children in line-1,2, …3,
they’ve had a few too many
centers of tootsie roll pops,
the wife, a licentious howler,
the average large rude man,
a blow pop with a blown top,
such is the bloviating blow up doll
a hot air balloon,
that far from being able to go around the world in eighty days,
when in the bathroom, cannot even see it’s own shoes.
metaphorically and figuratively
a blob of a human being
of epic, ectoplasmic proportions
