The sun shines on an Autumn day
Girls playing powderpuff football
I look away
That was my mistake that fateful day

The following day the news arrives
But no one is there to dry my eyes
Guilt is poisonous
But the only thing more deadly, lies

He's intoxicated she's riding along unknowing
Screeching life flashing overflowing
Screaming crying running
We're all too late but continue going

I witnessed all these things Sept.2009
The pain for her in my heart will not subsided
All I can do is write
