Catherine May Greensides

Black and White Ballet

In spring at midnight
I was walking along the shore.
A full moon glowed
on the black ocean
and rollicking whitecaps.
The ocean was full of sparkling diamonds--
a black and white ballet.
I thought:
What a magnificent performance!
