Charlotte Harris

Stereotypical.

Beauty and the BEAST,
Cinderella and the UGLY SISTERS,
Rapunzel and the WITCH,
Red Riding and the WOLF,
Goldilocks and the 3 BEARS,
Princess and RUMPLESTILTSKIN,
3 Goats and the TROLL,
Jack and the GIANT.
Good or BAD?
Pretty or UGLY?
I call it stereotypical.

Don't-Believe

Don't give up,
Believe it can happen.
Don't be sad,
Believe it will work out.
Don't let them get to you,
Believe its all lies.
Don't let them walk over you,
Believe you can walk with them.
Don't sit down to cry,
Believe they're with you.
Don't be hard on yourself,
Believe you can sort it out.
Don't say they're wrong,
Believe they have a reason.
Don't ignore them for no reason,
Believe they will say sorry.
Don't act like I'm not there,
Believe that I'll understand.

Welcome to reality

Once upon a time,
There was happily ever after,
There were smiles,
And you were surrounded by them too.
Then you met reality,
No more cinderella,
Or snow white and her dwarves,
No more rapunzel,
Or beast and his beauty.
No more Alladin,
Or the Ariel and the fish,
No more Rumpilstiltskin,
Or three bears eating porridge.
None of that,
None of their smiles,
No more daydreaming,
Your head is now out of the clouds.
And all I could say,
As i stood there and watched,
Was, 'Welcome to reality'.

Merry Christmas woop-de-doo!

It was the usual,
Wake me up at 6,
But you never thought,
Maybe we could just lie in,
All day all anyone could say,
Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas!
You never though it might get annoying,
A bit too consistent,
No- everything has to be perfect,
To the knives and the forks,
The napkins in place.
We'd watch the same films,
You never thought it might be boring,
That maybe just for once it could be different,
Special, exciting,
Glowing, Magnifying.
No-Christmas is a tradition,
