Children So Oblivious
Children so oblivious to everything
Laughter in the silence oh so eerie
Nobody speaks and yet they play
This happy time they dare not take
News so grim it shatters hearts
But not yet those of the children
So happily they sit and they play
Their laughter echoes in the silence
I never heard such a beautiful contrast
How I wish they’d stay like that forever.

When Did Romance Die?
All deaths get announced,
didn't you know?
Well then my dear,
where did romance go?
Didn't you hear,
romance has died,
gone from the world,
it has finished its ride.
Nobody cares for it anymore,
it is not loved,
like it was before.
The world is all for the physical,
gone are the days of the mystical.
Nobody knows just when it died,
but it has gone the old woman cried.

Alone In A Room Full Of People
Alone in a room full of people
Too much noise in the silence
Thoughts consume an empty mind
Confusion sets off angry tears
And the laughter starts again
But what is happening here and now
She doesn’t understand
Why is she alone in a room of people
And why is the silence noisy
Why is she angry, what caused the tears,
And the laughter that followed swiftly
Is there any sense in this madness,
Or should we all ignore it once more.

Stargazer Miss Me Not
Lying on the grass tonight
Gazing up at the stars
I remember when I was a child
The words you spoke to me
Whenever you are sad and lonely
Just look up at the moon
And I will look at it also
Then you will not be alone
Come dry your tears on the stars
And dance in the moon rays
And when the sun it starts to wake
You know you’re not alone,
So my darling miss me not
For I am wherever the moon is
And wherever the moon is
That’s where you are
and that’s where I’ll be too.

Painting This Love
You speak to me with pastel tones
My heart and head begin to groan
Again you’ve got me under your spell
It really makes me quite unwell
I throw my purple words at you
Although there are only a few
I have to find a way
To say what i must say
Purple tones blend with black
Fade to pink I take it back
I love you yes that’s true
You love me yes you do
Why spread the pastels over me
Leave them in our history
The future of us is grey and bleak
This love we have is oh so weak
Dirty tones wash over it all
Step back now let the love fall
Smashing into a thousand bits
All of the colours gush out in fits
