SunStar

I had you
The sun was up
I lost you
The sun came down
Sadness, despair
Until I found the stars
So although my sun has gone
The stars shall comfort me
Until my sun returns

I would like to be a fairy...

I’d like to be a fairy
And dance on swaying leaves
Leaping off the ivy
And collecting petals
And so sweet buttercups.

Oh, I’d like to be a fairy
Catching falling berries
Climbing ladders known as roses
And lying in heather on the hills.

Winter Wanderer

Walking stealthily,
Meowing steadily
The winter wanderer.

He is no hunter, man nor beast,
But cat, the greatest of them all,
The winter wanderer.

This feline beast
Relies on man
To feed and comfort him,
The winter wanderer.

He came to us
One frosty night,
That winter wanderer.

Monday morning,
It's time for school.
Sitting on the school bus,
Everybody acting cool

But they know that really,
They don't want to go to school.

'Cos it's Monday morning,
The start of the week.
