Kiedis's Warning

I have been gifted with 18 years in my own skin, pure of the world's impression,
The only pigment on my body is the symbol of my faith,
The only piercing of my skin has been with blessing,

My future culture is worn on my feet,
The only item from the West,
The only reminder of my life ahead,
That gives me pride as I build my way to get there,

I have been struck by Californication,
I see no sin in the concept,
With opportunities ringing loud and clear,
Lit up by the more-beautiful sun.

I will be my very own constellation,
With no influence but my own,
A change of waters is just what I need.
Take me away from this southern sweetness,
Into the West, with a culture of it's own.

Saving yourself is out of the question
When it comes to what you want, you expect nothing less than,
Cooperation, hindrance and absolutely no discretion
For your promise of love is your greatest weapon

Run away, run away, you filthy little prick
Get rid of that girl, she’s beginning to stick
But don’t leave before your prize is obtained
You can’t possibly leave that innocent soul un-maimed
