Gettin Over It

we spent time together
talked together
kissed together
now your gone and i miss you
time is still moving
the roses are still red and the violets still blue
blue as the sea
when its not you and me
its been months and it feels like years
running down my cheek, are my tears
when i remember the times had
i want to see you i know i can't
that makes me sad
you will always have a place in my heart
even if where miles away
nothing can tear the relationship apart
although i didn't mean to make the poem rhyme
my feelings will heal in good time.
