Living As God Favored
As I walk I feel the presence of God
No matter how uncertain I may feel at times, I know he is with me
When you have blessings coming from all places, that's the favor of God
Looking back, when I could have and should have lost my way, I had the favor of God
The Scripture says, the will of God will not take you,
Where the grace of God will not protect you and that's a fact
God is good and life is easy when you know you have the favor of God

Manipulation Got You Tripping
Lead me on then, tell me whatever you want me to know, yeah just tell it to me, I'll will absorb it, I'm so dumb I will remember it
Manipulation got you tripping
Oh for real, we going to do that and that and go here and there and be together forever

Did all this and that, thought I was doing all the right things to make things straight for us Manipulation got you tripping
Dang for real, oh yeah, all this time this was only gonna lead to this and me feeling sick Manipulation got you tripping
Oh that was cold, got me here while you over there talking to him

Passion
A passion found, is a passion to keep
A passion felt, is a passion to be kept
Poetry from the heart, poetry from the soul,
Poetry I have always felt,
There are many passions in
this world but none like this one, which you can
always return too when you feel lost or
feel you have something to say
I love thee yet, I love thee more
but with words I can express thee hence more
Sometimes life feels too complex to find the one with the same passion as you share,
Someone that understands you for you, not only the external you, but the inner you,
Someone that understands your thoughts and passions in life; pleasure is one thing but
Once that desire for pleasure with that person has been diminished,
what is there, nothing, a desire gone and lost,
yet to say I yearn, and can't wait till I find the one that shares the same passion and desires as I do

Sailboat
As each grass grows and blows, so it is how each soul in life must grow, which goes like a sailboat.
Life is like a sailboat in that you are traveling on trouble waters as you embark on your journey, and throughout your journey as deep and uncertain as the waters are for a sailboat, the same fate lies in the journey of life.
No matter how straight the gate of life is, one will always face troubling waters.
Some days may be sunny and great to sail, while other may be rainy and dark.
But just as a sailor is able to maneuver through troubling waters and is able to dodge rocks and waves; we too possess those entities to be able to be rocked and stay steady like a sailboat.
But at the end of the day we are able to look to the sky and see the clouds and know that the unmoved mover is the reason for any progress through the struggle.
Being able to look from the higher land above, we then can see from where we have come.
As unsuspected as it may seem, sailing through all the struggles, we can now see the beauty of life from the other side looking in

The World Is My Therapist And I'm In Counseling Right Now
Got my share of ugly, done did and said things I ain't proud of, I mean some ugly things, but what a real man does is ask God for forgiveness and whoever he have wrong.
We ain't perfect, we gonna make wrong decisions and sometimes even hurt people we love
For whatever reason it maybe, we do or say things that affect our lives forever and it sometimes changes our lives putting us a different course
The world is my therapist and I'm in counseling right now
Got a lot of hurt, anger, and frustrations in my life, the war in Liberia how traumatizing it was, life in America how hard and trial it can sometime be, interpersonal problems, such as people trying to break up your parents marriage, and then on top of that your own personal love problems and battling financial confidence

We may sometimes bend all the the way to the end but I never break, I never break......
Stronger than any rubber band or any bamboo reef, or better a diamond in a rough, I was made through extreme heat pressure, made harder than African Ivory and Tennessee marble
