Loss of Loved One's

Where has your shadow gone
My son, so tall and straight
Not dancing round you in the sun
Nor cast upon my gate.

Where has your shadow gone
My mother, frail and small
Reflected by your lamps warm glow
Not now on your bedroom wall.

Where has your shadown gone
My grandson, strong and fine
Not reflected in the water
As you cast your fishing line.

Where you are now - no shadows dwell
You live in a glow of love
From me, more love than words can tell
And unconditional love from above.
