Purple and White
Purple swirls with white and becomes lavender.
Lavender, reminds my senses of my beloved grandmother.
Grandmother, with paper thin skin that is soft as roses.
A rose, it’s sweet smelling aroma is candy for my nose.
My nose, one of my finest features that fills with me delight.
Delight, fine noses, sweet roses, soft grandmothers and purple swirled with white.

A Walmart Parking Lot
To laugh at life
You have to have,
A perpetual sense of humor.
If you laugh,
They say,
The life you live,
Will potentially,
Last much longer.
I am sitting in the dark,
Stranded,
In a Walmart parking lot,
And finding it,
Hard to laugh.
I cannot see the humor in,
My current situation.
I am desperately in need,
Of some comic revelation.

Making Love
Faces face
Fingers lace
Pulses race
Arms embrace
Breathing heavy

Love sweet
Warm words
Soft sighs
Careful caresses
Quiet cries
One wooing
One willing
Both needing
Both giving

I Don't Want to Hear Another Word
I don’t want to hear another word!
Don’t even express to me another thought.
I don’t need something else to believe.
I am filled to the brim with philosophies.
I prefer to remain ignorant.
I am finally seeing that I can choose to say no,
To more information about the Infinite.
You have defined Him for me since I was a child.
And I let you.
I thought I had to.
But you cannot possibly know what He is to me.
No lines can be drawn.
He is not in any vocabulary.
Passion is something you feel.
It is something you are.
It is not in Webster’s dictionary,
Somewhere between “operate” and “star”.
God is my passion.
