Mindless Losses

The loss that’s unconceivable, pain that follows sharp
A dagger pushed 6inches deep, Between the Sorrow and my Heart
No medication for the pain, No magic spell of equals gain
My Mind is lost to the thought of seeing you again

Pity Falls on my deaf ears The day you hide your lies
I turn my back on who i loved, deception realised
Empty promises count the hours home
Open up your past, And see where you belong

Forget me now, Forget me not
Embed in your thoughts like a rot
Take the beaten track back home
And remember there sweet smile
What we once had is condemned to time,
as a peaceful lyric in a childrens rhyme
Hard to face the fact that im not who i set out to be
