Lies and deception
Betrayal and fear
Pain and frustration
All filled by a peer

Sadness, depression
Anger and rage
I've got no liaison
We're on a different page

My Retention

Painting your memory
Into my skin
Holding the knife,
The pains yet to begin

Bleeding the past away
That we have shared
Keeping the memory
That you never cared

Drawing a line
The blade sliding across
With all of the pain
I forget all I've lost
