Dan Littauer

Sun baked bread

Sunlight radiated on my back
Illuminating my way with no shadows
Sprang from the ashes
My soul's a bird of flame
Glowing a warm spring smile
Of fresh leaves
and little flowers ready
to blossom
I embrace myself and you
My little marble playing child
I refound you deep in
A bread air bubble
Under my sun baked skin
Below a blue spring day
In London
