From Above
To see absolute,
To live absolute,
See solemn,
Live solemn,
Live today,
Die today,
Today to live,
Today to die,
Remember the day,
And just fade away.

Without A Promise
On the eve of dawn,
The words seem to scramble,
Forging their own messages,
Their own secrets.
The words are lying,
Leaving the pages scandalously clad.
A letter to remember;
The letters so empty.
The words have no meaning,
They rest as empty shells,
For metaphor upon metaphor.

Don't Forget How To Live
Don't forget the honesty,
That was once surrounding;
Honesty in a sea of panic,
Innocent in deaths eyes.
For to him your just
Another passenger on a
Never ending train ride.
Don't Forget to live;
Don't forget to breath,
In the fallen wasteland
That has become,
Which will always be.

All You Can Do Is Ask
The phone rings,
a voice answers, .
Your going to die today
He says.
Mortified; terrozied
All you can do is ask,
Why, why do I die today?
Hear his smile,
Because you're bound by circumstance,
Your stolen like my last line,
Why, why must be so?
Why? He smirks.
Because death knows not metaphor,
Anguish nor humour.

My Friend Roger
For you the city preys
Unlike one, who the city prays
Upon one told false
The weight of the world,
Comes to rest
and comes to fall,
For years go by,
Hairs turn gray
And memories begin to fade,
The city roaring,
With fans in riot,
The weight of the world sits
Upon your soul,
To the point of tears,
For your name remains
Historic almost,
Remember the summer nights,
And rest in peace underneath
The August sun.

To Die Here Today
One last fragrance to linger,
And share the memories from its own being.
For yesterday was a different day,
And today is today.
Deny,
Deny,
Deny,
But today is a new day.
One last curtailing lie,
Just to say we're lacking,
The words to say anything at all.
A lie to say our minds stopped racing,
From the moment before.
Unemotionally attached,
Then why are we still shaking?
We could whisper
But perhaps you would miss the subtlety,
That's met in absence.
Aren't you tired of waiting for one day?
What's wrong with today?
