11 Years, New Years

Two days remaining
Until it's eleven years
Eleven years today
I didn’t know that new years
Would change me life
Bring me sorrow
Who’d have known
It was your last day
Eleven years tomorrow

Its the 30th December
As I sit here writing
Thinking of January the 1st
The day that we all
Have come to curse
