A Light In The Darkness

Deep within the contours of the human mind,
Lies a yearning for innocence.
A desire so simple, yet unreachable.
Because innocence is never bliss

To believe in innocence causes it to become precious.
The cruel reality brought down upon it either snuffs it out or makes it stronger.
For if it survives the ravaging evil and malicious minds,
It becomes salvation to all that is near.
