Butterfly kisses

Like a shadow in the darkness
All my hopes and fears
The bringer of my laughter
Who dries my every tear
A kiss lands on my lips
A softly as a dove
And for the bringer of my laughter
My heart is filled with love
Who knew darkness
Brought such bliss?
And in the light where sorrow prevails
His kiss will be forever missed

Beautiful Poison

Beautiful poison
Savior and killer of my soul.
I wish for your name to be only mine.
Beautiful poison
I hear you saying my name and answer
Only to be denied your presence
Beautiful poison
You are slow working and sensitive
To my need for loss of pain
Yet you cause the endless agony
Beautiful poison
Another has used you
Will you still work the same for me?
