Trapped in time
trapped in mind
lonely desperate soul
searching endlessly
in depths of darkness
silence invades
no sounds escapes
too lost in void
to overcome sorrow
cant break loose
cant find myself

something
anything
to break free
a deadness that lies
a walking corpse
is all i am

caged, trapped
can't get out
can't get free
no fight left
relentless
weakness gaining upon

A summer love

A warm summer's night
nestled cozy in your arms
rocking back and forth
from a wooden swing
hung by an oak tree
we sit
nothing but silence
just lingering thoughts
rafting in the summer's breeze
floating toward stars bright
the feel of your touch
warm breath against my neck
makes my heart beat rapidly
as i lay my head upon your shoulder
and your arm wrapped around me
sweet tender lips full of smiles
speaks of our love so pure and true
when you lay them upon mine
no words are needed
for our love is already known

To my dear mom
How I wish you here
Just for one day
To see your smiling face
And the beautiful gold curls
That hangs loose across your back
To wrap myself in your arms
And feel those hands rubbing
Soothing the pain away
To my dear mom
How I wish just to have
That one day
To pour out my heart and soul
For you to dry up the

How the pain of missing you
