Death - a Couplet
One word can take the most at ease
And send then crumbling to their knees

The Willow Tree
Around the willow tree
Sounds of life rang through the air
It felt like home to me.
Home, where I was not.
But this willow tree comforted me,
And so I forgot.
This tree was part of me.
It's limbs swaying so gracefully
A lovely thing to see.
But now I am back home.
And I think about the willow tree
Standing all alone.
Home, where I'm glad to be.
But often I still find myself
Longing for that tree.

The Soul's Graduation
When Death comes near you,
Don't flood your face with tears
Do not let it control you
Or awaken your fears.
Do not make Death your stranger
For we will all face it one day
And though you may fear it
It still won't go away.
I will treat Death as my neighbor
Like an old, distant friend
For Death is the beginning
It should never mark the end.
And my meaning of Death
One to appreciate:
Death is the Soul's graduation!
So why not celebrate?
