We love like children
Like ill - tempered teens
Always fighting
But never siding

We love like children
So easily swayed
Believing the rumors
That others have paid

We love like children
So innocently shallow
Never taking the time
To read between the lines

We love like children
So unexperienced
When it comes to love
It's as small as a dove
