An ode to our beloved politicians

An Ode to our beloved Politicians:

So a mole has exposed the greedy rats
Labour, Tory and some Democrats
All found with noses deep in the trough
The lads the cads and the Grandee toffs

Some noses go deeper - so the more they scoff
Like a claim for a mortgage – that’s already paid off
Cleaning moats and chandeliers
This vile contempt brings a soul to tears

It’s not my fault the rodents plead
Whilst drowning in their unfettered greed
A hornet’s nest of thieves and crooks
One by one must be brought to book

No fighting between the Lords and lads
‘Cos each one of them is equally as bad
Barristers and lawyers – ah! ...now we know why
