hot sausage
weak noodle
change in diet
change in size
come slower or faster
shake it off
just let it drain itself

Lady beloved!
Respect loud as laughter-
Salty as tears-

Smoke the dope
stay high
but without
wings to fly
A spoonful
just enough to
dull your brain
make you forget
your stress and strain

To see a house
Visibly falling
To its knees

Its body trembling
And breaking
A house thats homeless

With loneliness

No window

No door

Its body fully
Infested
Faced with old age
And its demise!

There was lots of laughter
in that home
shed some briny
Tears
in that home
breakfast
lunch
and dinner
in that home
Me and my brother
in comfortable bed
in that home
Father and Mother
raised a family
best they could
in that home

now that home is gone

So is my childhood!
