Butterfly Fly

Fly little butterfly fly, for you are beauty and free.
Ever changing, ever transforming.

I am changing, I am forming, I am growing.
Like a butterfly so beautiful and yet so free.
Always changing, always transforming.

I am that butterfly, I am beautiful but yet I am not free.
Open the window, let me fly for I am not a child anymore.
You have helped transform this cocoon into a beautiful butterfly.

Set me free. For if not it will wider and die,
like a flower when it gets no water.
Let me wonder, let me live, let me learn from my mistakes.

Don’t let me wider, don’t let me die just set this butterfly free.
Open the window, unlock the door and no matter how far I go.

I will always be your baby, no matter how old I grow.

Dead Memory

Your memory no longer lingers through my life.
You were there once and now your gone.
Your memory has died like a rose when it is cut from the rest of the world.
Your torns no longer cut my heart.
My voice no longer whispers you name,
I no longer look for you in other people in other faces.
I no longer dream of you or wish that I see you once again.
My heart no longer cries or bleeds for you, not no more.
You no longer haunt my dreams or my memories.
I finally found someone that keeps me warm at night,
I finally found someone who has helped me erase your memory.
I no longer fall and stumble but I now walk tall.
Your memory was a weight that I carried through out time
that now I am free.
I can say that I no longer love you, for you are a dead memory
