Memories Of Mine

I scribble on the piece of paper
Paper as dull as this memory of mine
About things i remember from long ago
And things that have been long forgotten in time
Of the dull old days, where the sun would never shine
Days as dull as this memory of mine

I sense your presence around me still
Around this riven heart of mine
I long to hear your voice so calm
The way it used to send shivers down my spine
In the good old days, where the sun would always shine
