Under this livid blue sky

We are under the exact same livid sky,
Which is blue during the day.
And grey at night:
The time which you are away dreaming,
I will stay under this sky forever,
With you, and everyone else;
No matter if they are dead or alive,
We are all under the exact same livid sky.
But why do you always feel so far, far away?
Because it seems that you're
Floating further, further away into the distance,
And beyond,
Just like a cloud in the sky.

Why is it that I miss you this much?
Even though I know that
When you look up at the day-time sky,
I am looking as well.
When I lay and think of you,
I hope and wonder if you ever think about me.
