Stairway To Heaven
The stairway to heaven
Lies way beyond my soul,
Far-away from my heart,
And out of my control.
As I pass each second,
Of every single day,
I take steps to travel,
This far and distant way.
The stairway to heaven
Leads to a final goal,
When earthly life's absorbed
Via blending of the whole.

The End Of Time
If our bright sun declines to shine,
And the whole world in darkness sits,
The moon decides to thus resign,
And stars depart and daytime quits.
Then all the earth will barren be,
And so will come the end of time,
Could you in this void, still love me,
And would poets at last, run out of rhyme.

Frosted
Cold hands, warm heart, they say,
And yet, how the cold winds chill my heart today.
Creeping within my warmly wrapped attire,
Not caring how or when they quench the fire
Contained therein. Now the body's frosted to the bone,
And to shivers prone, and hands are still so cold.
Where are warm gloves sold?

A Smile Begins
Sitting in the sun, on a cold frosty day,
Feeling all its warmth wash my cares away.
Crisp chilly air sending senses high,
Wisps of clouds float across the sky.
A touch of spring in the winter time,
Lifting spirits that start to climb,
And a smile begins to take its shape,
Sitting in the sun in a wild landscape.

New Tomorrows
How distant is the moon,
when two become far apart.
No romance from its light,
to illuminate the heart.
The sun can act likewise,
it can hardly warm the soul.
Stays hidden behind cloud,
no likelihood to cajole.
Alone one rides the day,
smiling to the sky above.
facing new tomorrows,
longing for the one you love.

Please Keep Repeating
Do you find,
That your mind,
Doesn't hold,
Information told.
What's to do,
Makes one blue,
Mind's depleting,
Please keep repeating.
Can't slot things in,
To 'My Computer Bin',
In the memory section,
Can't make a connection.
Need robotic brain,
Should I retrain? ,
Before it's too late.
Say that again, Mate?

Clear Signs
See, when you lift your eyes to the sun,
It fills your body with warmth and light.
Spreading through the mind giving respite,
As if a miracle has been spun.
So precious is its heat healing rays,
We feel so alive each time it shines.
Looking all the while for the clear signs,
That the day becomes sunny, through the haze,

One Particle
God owns my soul, my life is His.
He will recall me in time,
when that time is right.
I belong to Him, and that is as it should be.
God in me,
Me in God.
A segment of His being,
a precious speck in His infinite universe.
He is mine,
I am His.
One particle in His great Cosmos.
Part of the whole.
The 'Whole' that is God.

After
After a poem is over,
We’ll remember what it contains.
After a song is over,
The memory of the tune remains.
After a love is over,
Comes the breaking of the chains.
After a dream is over,
Then cruel reality entertains.
After a pain is over,
A quiet, peaceful moment reigns.
After a life is over,
We go where the Lord ordains.

Coffee!
Coffee beans all ground up,
Coffee in my favourite cup,
Coffee black, coffee white,
Coffee dark, coffee light,
Coffee right, to start the day,
Coffee at work, coffee at play,
Coffee midday, coffee at night,
Coffee to sober, coffee to excite,
Coffee weak, coffee strong,
But maybe instead some Lapsang Souchong! ! ! !
TEA! ! ! ! !
