True Peace

When will men get peace,
if the urge to please the unknown, never cease?
thinking, there we will rest our oars and stay
under the blue sky of a brighter day,
but we are men,
born into the claws of vanity
to seek pleasure all life long is insanity,
yet we wake everyday
in quest of dreams, fame and wealth
however, what else can i say..
when the horrible name men give true peace is DEATH.

For A Friend So Dear

Lo! what fate brought us
a yesterday affair he came thus
he, like us, after high school educational lust
as time pass by,
we swam deeper than the pool of friendship
into the oceanbed of kinship
before you came, angels were myth
but now my dull, dark life you lit
if today i go the way of the flesh,
my eyes like a dying fire. quietly quenched
at least gladness shall abide by my soul
same gladness dusk gives owl
knowing i behold fate`s dubaic structure
heaven`s breathing architecture
meeting you is such a pearly pleasure.
